"Contast"...Could be; This is a photo of my grandfather who lived many years in Canada but the photo is from when he was in DK visiting our family and his first grandchild...

What a lovely photograph - your grandfather has such an interesting face. He looks like someone who had a lot of stories to tell.
I like how you added the colors to the photo to give it warmth and still kept its gentle antique look. Love the little stripy socks on the baby.
We had a neighbor who, every Christmas, gave us a large tin of butter cookies with the huge crystals of sugar on top. They moved. (the neighbors not the cookies) I don't know which I miss more...the neighbors or the cookies. ;)
Believe me sowandsew...He had many bad jokes but great stories...haha...lots of humour ;)
Leenie...I think you miss your neighbors...because without them...nada cookies ;) And the baby is kind of "big big" now...haha, he does not wear striped socks anymore...
I love to stroll along old photo albums. There's always nice findings... and I love to scan old photos and give them a "new life" playing with colors and contrast. This is a really nice portrait... and I'd be curious to see the big guy with stripey socks :)
